Structural reliability of ultra‐high‐performance fiber reinforced concrete beams in shear

Abstract A study on the shear model uncertainty and structural reliability of ultra‐high‐performance fiber reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) beams with stirrups is presented. Model for models given in JSCE, AFGC ACI 544 standards are characterized by comparison to nonlinear finite element analyses (NLFEA). In other basic parameters, a notable negative correlation between transverse reinforcement ratio ( ρ w f ywm ) observed. When combined stochastic descriptions remaining parameters that describe these analytical models, values designed JSCE specifications found fall 6%, 12%, respectively, below target standards, while exceed value specified this standard 8%.
